Ashridge Park FC – Registration Instructions

Thank you for registering with the club.  We register over 300 players each year; the vast majority of registrations go smoothly.  Of the ones which don’t go smoothly, in over 90% of cases it’s because parents have not followed the instructions.  So, please, read them carefully - it will save us (and you) a lot of wasted time!

 

Because we are required to register players with the club, the FA and the League the children play in the whole process can appear quite complicated. But if you go through it carefully and methodically, it works - trust us! We would welcome any suggestions for how these instructions could be made clearer.

Family Accounts

If you have two or more children in the club ensure that you have created a “family account” for them as this will reduce your fees by £10 for the second and subsequent children.  You must do this before registering them. The instructions for managing a family account can be found here. (If you have previously set up a family account with all the correct children in you do not need to do this again.)

Registration

For instructions on how to register, please click on one of the links below for the circumstances that apply to you.  You may find it helpful to have the instructions open on one device (or browser tab) while you complete registration on another.

  1. My child was a member of the club last year and played in one of the mixed teams
  2. My daughter was a member of the club last year and played in one of the girls-only teams
  3. My child is joining a mixed team.  They were not a member of the club last year. (If they were a member of the club before last year - so they are returning after a gap - select this option)
  4. My daughter is joining one of the girls-only teams.  She was not a member of the club last year.  (If they were a member of the club before last year - so they are returning after a gap - select this option.)

Problems?

First, please, re-read the instructions.  It's surprising how often an apparent problem turns out to be because the instructions were not followed carefully.
