Ashridge Dodge the Holiday Blues

U15s: Ashridge Park 4 Spencers Wood Hurricanes 3

With the Easter holidays driving a cart and horses through availability, Ashridge just about scrape 11 players together for this match against the division's bottom side. In an error-strewn game the visitors lead three times, but Ashridge level three minutes from the end, before nicking the points from a last-minute penalty. Two more for Reg Ryan, with Dan Baker and an own goal completing the scoring.

Lions Roar Towards Title

U15s: Woodley Saints Lions 4 Ashridge Park 1

Ashridge are unable to stop Woodley's inexorable march towards the Division 5 title in this second meeting between the sides in the past three weeks. The Lions once again restrict Ashridge to a handful of chances, whilst at the other end some clinical finishing sees them establish a comfortable 3-0 advantage by half-time. Reg Ryan pulls one back for Ashridge as Woodley drop off the pace in the second period, but a strike from distance restores the cushion towards the end, and leaves the Lions needing just a point from their last two games to secure the title.

Beating Hearts

U15's: Hearts of Teddlothian Lions 0 Ashridge Park 5

The long trip to Teddington is a fruitful one as Ashridge register a comfortable win despite some notable defensive absentees. Reg Ryan completes another hat-trick, taking his season's tally to 30, with further goals coming from Dan Baker and Antonio Baciu. A measure of the team's confidence comes when keeper Joe Savory steps forward to take a late penalty - which he then proceeds to miss!

Lions' Pride

U15s: Ashridge Park 0 Woodley Saints Lions 2

A goal in each half sees Woodley go five points clear at the top of the table, with Ashridge failing to find the net for the first time since the opening day of the season. The visitors establish a vice-like grip on midfield and limit Ashridge to just a handful of chances, Antonio Baciu takes our star player award after coming closest to unlocking a miserly defence.

Raining Goals on the Bracknell Astroturf

U15s: Berks County Pumas 5 Ashridge Park 5

A crazy game with both sides suffering from defensive availability issues ends all-square as the Pumas fight back from 5-2 down midway through the second half. Reg Ryan puts Ashridge two up in the first quarter of an hour before a controversial goal gives the home side hope before half time as the referee overrules the assistant's offside flag. Dillon Malabon and Bertie Wilson strike early in the second half to put Ashridge clear, before another controversial award - this time a penalty for a challenge that appeared to be outside the box - reduces the arrears. Dan Baker restores the three goal cushion on the hour, but Ashridge fade in the latter stages, allowing the Pumas to level things up.

Hoops Deny Park at the Death

U15s: Ashridge Park 3 Westwood Wanderers Hoops 3

Ashridge almost snatch a late win as Reg Ryan nets his second of the game three minutes from time, but the visitors reclaim a deserved point with a last minute strike from range having had the better of possession in the second half. Ashridge had looked the better side in the first period, but twice found themselves behind having failed to deal with set-piece deliveries. Jack Gillingham popped up with Ashridge's first equalizer, also from a set-piece. Jamie Cole takes the star player nomination for a strong performance on Ashridge's right flank.

Park Cruise to Pinewood Win

U15s: Pinewood Panthers 0 Ashridge Park 5

Ashridge gain revenge for a surprise home defeat earlier in the season with a comfortable win at local rivals Pinewood Panthers. An early goal from Antonio Baciu is the only reward for Ashridge's superiority in the first half, but further strikes from Tayseer Alam, Reg Ryan (2) and a second for Antonio Baciu at the death provide a more realistic margin of victory. James Roberts takes the star player award at the heart of a makeshift Ashridge back four, who claim the side's first clean sheet of the season.

Windsor Woe for Depleted Ashridge

U15s: Windsor Youth Harriers Gladiators 5 Ashridge Park 2

An Ashridge side missing four key players from the spine of the team comes unstuck on their visit to Windsor. A rocky quarter of an hour spell before half-time costs the blues dear as Windsor rack up a 4-0 half-time lead, and although Ashridge dominate the second period they had left themselves too much to do. Dan Baker and Antonio Baciu from the penalty spot briefly threaten a comeback, but Windsor rub salt into the wounds with a late fifth on the counter.

U15s: Westwood Wanderers Greens 2 Ashridge Park 3

Ashridge pull off a surprise but deserved win at leaders Westwood Wanderers Greens thanks to a thoroughly hard-working and disciplined display. The home team have been toppled from 1st place as a result, with Teddington now taking over after a comfortable win against Berks County.

Late Drama as Hurst Halt Park Charge

U15s: Ashridge Park 3 Hurst Twyford Hurricanes 4

An Ashridge side missing regular keeper Joe Savory recover from a 1-4 half-time deficit to come within a whisker of taking a point in a dramatic clash. Reg Ryan nets twice in the second half, before hitting the post in the closing stages, and then is denied from the penalty spot in the final minute as the visiting keeper pulls off a stunning save. Earlier James Riley posted a contender for goal of the season, finding the top corner with a 25-yard drive for the home side.
