Park Cruise to Pinewood Win

U15s: Pinewood Panthers 0 Ashridge Park 5

Ashridge gain revenge for a surprise home defeat earlier in the season with a comfortable win at local rivals Pinewood Panthers. An early goal from Antonio Baciu is the only reward for Ashridge's superiority in the first half, but further strikes from Tayseer Alam, Reg Ryan (2) and a second for Antonio Baciu at the death provide a more realistic margin of victory. James Roberts takes the star player award at the heart of a makeshift Ashridge back four, who claim the side's first clean sheet of the season.

Windsor Woe for Depleted Ashridge

U15s: Windsor Youth Harriers Gladiators 5 Ashridge Park 2

An Ashridge side missing four key players from the spine of the team comes unstuck on their visit to Windsor. A rocky quarter of an hour spell before half-time costs the blues dear as Windsor rack up a 4-0 half-time lead, and although Ashridge dominate the second period they had left themselves too much to do. Dan Baker and Antonio Baciu from the penalty spot briefly threaten a comeback, but Windsor rub salt into the wounds with a late fifth on the counter.

U15s: Westwood Wanderers Greens 2 Ashridge Park 3

Ashridge pull off a surprise but deserved win at leaders Westwood Wanderers Greens thanks to a thoroughly hard-working and disciplined display. The visitors posed a consistent threat to the Westwood goal with some incisive passes and pacey forward play, and got their reward with goals from Reg Ryan and Dan Baker (2). The home team have been toppled from 1st place as a result, with Teddington now taking over after a comfortable win against Berks County.

Late Drama as Hurst Halt Park Charge

U15s: Ashridge Park 3 Hurst Twyford Hurricanes 4

An Ashridge side missing regular keeper Joe Savory recover from a 1-4 half-time deficit to come within a whisker of taking a point in a dramatic clash. Reg Ryan nets twice in the second half, before hitting the post in the closing stages, and then is denied from the penalty spot in the final minute as the visiting keeper pulls off a stunning save. Earlier James Riley posted a contender for goal of the season, finding the top corner with a 25-yard drive for the home side.

Wasteful Windsor Punished by Park

U15s: Ashridge Park 3 Windsor Youth Harriers Gladiators 1

After an even first half ends 1-1 with Reg Ryan on target for Ashridge, Windsor let the home team off the hook, creating several clear openings at the start of the second period, but failing to hit the target. Ashridge gradually ease back into the game and seal their fifth win in a row with a Reg Ryan penalty on the hour and a late strike from Dan Baker.

See-Saw Game Sees Ashridge Extend Run

U15s: Ashridge Park 4 Berks County Pumas 3

Ashridge emerged victorious in the tightest of games to notch up their fourth win in a row. The blues fought back twice to go in 2-2 at half-time, before taking their turn to lead twice in the second half, with the Pumas unable to find an equalizer at the end. Another hat-trick for Reg Ryan takes him to 16 in eight appearances this season, with Antonio Baciu also on target.

Ashridge make better use of the conditions as four strikes from range see them overturn a 2-0 half-time deficit on a vast, sloping pitch in windy conditions against fellow mid-tablers Westwood Wanderers Hoops. Reg Ryan finds the net twice with a little help from the home keeper, whilst Jack Gillingham and Dan Baker also net with spectacular efforts from outside the box. James Riley takes star player for his efforts at the heart of a hard-working rearguard action in the first half, coupled to some well-judged forward forays in the second.

Derby Win for Park

U15s: Ashridge Park 5 Wokingham & Emmbrook Rangers 2

A scrappy encounter sees Ashridge emerge with the points in this Wokingham derby against the bottom side in Division 5. The home team concede a sloppy goal in the second minute, but quickly recover to lead 3-1 before letting their opponents back into the game with an own goal just before the break. Two second half goals are enough to settle matters. Reg Ryan grabs another hat-trick, with Jamie Cole on the scoresheet for the second game running, and Tayseer Alam netting the fifth. Marcus Coppen takes the star player award for some great creative play in midfield.

U15s: Spencers Wood Hurricanes 3 Ashridge Park 9

Ashridge produce a sensational response after a rocky 10-minute spell finds them 3-0 down early in this match at second-placed Spencers Wood Hurricanes. Dan Baker leads the fightback with two goals as the visitors overturn the deficit to lead 4-3 at the break, before running riot in the second half. Top-scorer Reg Ryan bags four, whilst Jamie Cole, James Riley and Antonio Baciu are also on target.

Ashridge Out In Shoot-Out Drama

U15s: Ashridge Park 1 Curley Park Rangers Spitfires 1 
(Curley Park won 4-2 on penalties)

Curley Park survived a second-half onslaught from the home side to drag this cup-tie to a penalty-shoot-out. Reg Ryan found an equaliser for Ashridge on the hour after the visitors had taken the lead with a headed goal from a corner after 15 minutes, but the home side couldn't grab a second despite constant pressure. In the shoot-out, Joe Savory kept out the second penalty from the visitors to give Ashridge an early advantage, but Park failed to convert the next two to leave the visitors victorious.
