A familiar story as we played a match with 10 men again, no ones fault just the way things have been this season. This is if I am correct the 5th time this season we did not have a full complement.
Again the 10 played really well against a very good team, gave their all. It was not surprising that we ran out of steam for the last third.
We took the lead when Tommy put Olly in and he scored with a great shot into the corner.
Cove equalised from a corner just before half time and went ahead soon in the second half when a good cross was fired home.
After an hour Cove had a third as they capitalised on a poor clearance.
A forth followed from an unfortunate own goal.
We pulled one back when Jordan scored and shortly afterwards Olly was through but hit the post.
As a spectator it was a good game played in good spirit by both sides despite the cold!!
